How it Works:
The Process

Whether you are building your own home or delivering a larger development, we work from your architectural plans to design, manufacture and erect a timber frame structure for your project. Here is how the process works.

01. Send us your project details

Start by sending us your architectural drawings, project details and proposed schedule of works, if available.

This gives our team the information needed to understand the size, design and requirements of your build.

02. Consultation and quotation

Once we have reviewed your information, we will arrange a free consultation to talk through the project.

We will discuss your plans, answer your initial questions and establish whether our timber frame system is the right fit for the build. Our sales team will then prepare a detailed quotation based on the agreed specification.

03. Timber frame design

Our design team works from your architectural drawings to translate the plans into a detailed timber frame design.

Using specialist timber frame software, we calculate structural loads, work through the technical requirements and ensure the design complies with the relevant building regulations.

General arrangement drawings are then sent to you and your project team for review and approval before manufacturing begins.

04. Manufacturing your frame

Once the drawings have been approved, your timber frame moves into production at our Ardnaree facility in Ballina.

Our craftspeople manufacture each panel in controlled conditions, following the approved design drawings. This allows for greater precision, consistent workmanship and careful checks before the structure reaches your site.

The completed frame is then prepared and packaged for delivery.

05. Delivery and frame-up

Your timber frame is delivered to site and the structure is erected by our experienced installation team.

Each stage follows the approved assembly drawings, with trained and insured timber frame carpenters working to the required quality and health and safety standards.

Site engineers check the structure throughout the structure's erection process and sign off each area as required.

06. Final inspection and handover

Once the timber frame has been erected, a final inspection is completed with the client’s chartered engineer.

The structure is then ready for the next stage of the build.

Everything is Built Around Your Project

Every frame begins with a different set of plans. Whether it is a one-off family home or a larger residential development, we bring the same care, precision and experience to every stage.

You will know what is happening, what is required and what comes next, from the first drawings through to frame-up on site.
